I'm really happy with the quality of the Garden Organics Lomatium. It's made from dried root, which is essential for my family since fresh root tinctures cause a rash for my husband. But this tincture doesn't. I'm also pleased that the Lomatium is wild-crafted in the USA.
Lomatium is a powerful antiviral and is the most effective flu remedy I've come across. When my husband got sick a couple of weeks ago and mentioned that his coworker had the flu, I started giving him the Lomatium three times a day along with an organic Ginger tincture (we use the Herb Pharm brand from Amazon). In just three days, my husband was almost back to full health while his coworker (taking meds from the doctor) was still very ill and unable to work.

Great brand great product
Lomatium was suggested by an herbalist for virus protection. I've had three prolonged colds this fall, and this product might have helped stop and clear the last lingering cold when other herbal remedies didn't do much. I don't have solid scientific proof, just my own experience and sensing my immune system getting a boost. I wanted to reduce my frequent use of ibuprofen and Tylenol. I was close to seeing my primary care physician, which I recommend, but decided to give this a shot instead. I also appreciate that this product doesn't contain any alcohol. Thankfully, I'm feeling better now. It might be a good idea to take this when you first feel cold/flu symptoms to enhance your immune system.

Alcohol versions are not necessarily bad, but they might not be everyone's cup of tea, and some may prefer to avoid alcohol altogether. These alcohol-free tinctures are really impressive. Plus, this one is made using dried root, which allegedly leads to fewer rash symptoms in Lomatium users. I ordered these in early February 2020, and they are good until 2024, so they will remain effective for quite a while.
